Welcome to the Famiglia Settimo @aureliosettimo🍷We are honored to start this partnership with Aurelio Settimo Barolo out of La Morra Piemonte in the small fraction of Annunziata, home of many legendary producers.  It all started with a Barolo Breakfast over Zoom where the energetic & immensely likable winemaker Tiziana Settimo introduced us to her delicate classic-style Barolos. We knew at that moment that these wines would be happy here in Colorado. Settimo considers herself a “traditionalist”, like her father and grandfather were since the 1940s, producing wines with a classic expression of Nebbiolo.  Settimo’s philosophy remains the same; focus on quality and keep with tradition.  She only bottles one Cru which is Rocche dell’Annunziata, right next to the winery, producing extremely elegant and complex wines. Settimo’s 100% Nebbiolo Barolos & Riservas are made for aging, some for as long as for 36 months in big oak casks and 12 months in bottle before release, and then the wines hold their quality, only getting better, for 20 to 25 years.  It is such a privilege to represent Aurelio Settimo!
