ELEGANT & SOPHISTICATED BARBERA

Marchesi Alfieri...you have our heart!🍷 Our first stop in Piemonte, also one of the first wines in our portfolio, was this grand wine estate, housed in a 16th century castle. We were graciously welcomed to the cellar beneath the castle by genius oenologist Mario & his talented winemaker Christian, and then tasted in the opulent orangerie. It is easy to see that the elegance of the estate directly translates into their high-quality & sophisticated wines.
We were also privileged enough to try the limited production Carlo Alfieri Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore, the best expression of a Barbera we have ever experienced.
