Gorgeous & Modern brunellodi montalcino

Elegant and refined, gorgeous and modern can describe both the wines that come out of La Fiorita in Northern Montalcino as much as the winery itself! Estate manager Luigi Peroni graciously welcomed us to La Fiorita recently, where we spent a delightful day in their state-of-the-art cellar.  The trailblazingly brave American WOMAN Natalie Oliveros, La Fiorita’s owner, makes a modern Brunello with her own style that is winning hearts and awards worldwide!  Since her takeover of the estate in 2011 she has certified the winery as organic and created wines that truly reflect the appellation, garnering her much respect in the industry.  Brunello is Italy's ultimate red and the La Fiorita crew is bringing a modernity to the varietal with 95+ point wines. Their Rosso di Montalcino and 100% Sangiovese Rosato are also inspiring new lovers of the brand. While we missed our friend & marketing director Francois we will look forward to welcoming him back to CO this winter and will enjoy sharing these gorgeous wines in the CO market in the meantime!
