taste as barolo

 Alberto & Caterina Burzi in La Morra are "crushing" the Barolo game, pun intended! In the 10 years since they stepped back into the footsteps their grandparents originally embarked on, this brother & sister duo is on to something special.
From the easy drinking Barbara d'Asti [a softer face of Barbera, easy drinking, really white wine dressed as a red according to Alberto], the Nebbiolo [Fresco, fresh and fruity not a baby Barolo], the '17 Barolo Classico [mouth watering dry tannins], the '16 Barolo Capalot Vecchie Viti [smoother & persistent tannins, excellent vintage] to enjoying the exciting new '18 vintage Barolo Classico over lunch, it was an awesome visit. Alberto aspires to drink a glass of Barolo & have it "taste as Barolo, Langhe, La Morra" and we see he has succeeded! We are thrilled to be part of the Burzi siblings' journey🍷
